Terms of Service
The fine print for your musical journey at Orpheus Strings. We've kept it as clear as a perfect C major chord.
1. Acceptance of Agreement
By accessing the website or booking a session at Orpheus Strings, you're agreeing to these terms. It's the technical stuff that keeps our music education environment safe and professional for everyone. Do you really want to read all 4,000 words? Probably not, but here are the highlights.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Notice of significant changes will be posted on our homepage or sent via email to our registered students. Continued use of our New York studio or online platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Life happens. We get it. However, to maintain the quality of our personalized coaching, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. If you're running late, we'll give you as much of the remaining time as possible, but sessions cannot be extended.
- Notice > 24 hours: Full credit or reschedule available.
- Notice < 24 hours: 50% of the lesson fee will be charged.
- No-show: Total fee forfeiture. No exceptions.
// HACK: implement automated SMS reminders for bookings
3. Payment & Billing
We like to focus on the music, not the math. Payments for individual lessons or monthly packages are due upon booking. We accept all major credit cards and digital payment platforms.
Online courses are billed as a one-time purchase unless a subscription model is explicitly selected at checkout. All prices are in USD. Since we're based in Brooklyn, NY, relevant state taxes may apply.
Quick Summary
Lessons start exactly on time. Don't be late for that first downbeat!
Protecting your ears and your data is our priority.
Refunds for digital products are assessed on a case-by-case basis within 14 days.
